Question Dumping applet contents to a file

Hi. I wanted to know if there is an easy way to export the contents of an applet (i.e., what it's showing on the browser) to a graphic file. I thought the 'container' or 'component' classes should have a method that provides a stream of data of their contents, but I can't find it. Is there some way to do what I'm trying to? Thanks for any information on this issue.

I think Component.createImage() will do that for you. The resulting Image can be written using the 1.4 ImageIO classes.
