Accessing Python from Java

I have an application written in Python.

My client wants me to develop another application written in Java, which uses the functionality of the Python application.

Is there a way to access a python method from my java program?

This area is not my forte, but I am aware that many develpoers tend to use JYTHON when wanting to use the functionality of Python with Java. Another one that keeps coming up is JPYTHON. You might want to try looking for these in Google...
