Simple app to read variable on server..

    Hello,

I am an extreme newbie. I have a project that uses webpages to interface to a machine. RPM's are fed from the machine to a variable on the server board. I need an Applet to read the RPM's from the server board in realtime. I have a couple of examples that use a TCP connection to create a graph, but all I need is a small Applet to just read the RPM's. What I am hoping to get from here is some feedback on how I might get started doing this.

If I can provide more info, please let me know and thanks!

    Hello,

I suppose just for an example the rev's do not really matter, but just for example.....100 RPM.

    Thanks!
