Program Manager, .Net Joint Development Program
Are you a developer with 3+ years of experience desinging or developing distributed
enterprise-scale applications with either Visual C++ or Visual Basic? Interested
in helping shape the next generation of software services?
Help define and implement the Visual Studio.Net Joint Development Program
by engaging real world customers to
develop and deploy applications built with the latest Visual Studio.Net technologies.
Be a part of this new and exiting team which plans to partner with Microsoft
Consulting Service field teams, various groups across the Developer Division,
Visual Studio marketing and customers to develop new Visual Studio.Net applications.
These applications will be showcased at the
Visual Studio.Net launch as key examples of customer commitment to our new
platform. You will work with the field teams to identify and choose the customers,
drive the program by forming partnerships with Program Managers from across
the Developer Division, work with Product Support Services,Test, Development,
and User Education to solve customer issues.
In addition, you will provide critical feedback to individual product teams
to help them identify holes in the feature design. You will be responsible
for regular Joint Development Program summit events, where the customer would
showcase application architecture to key Program Managers from the Developer
Qualifications: Demonstrated skills in driving software development projects,
the ability to coordinate deliverables and dependencies with other groups,
solid software development background with Visual Studio products (Visual
C++, Visual Basic), Microsoft runtime technologies and servers. Strong interpersonal
