Custom cursors
What's the best way to use custom cursors? I want to use the open hand and the grabbing hand, like those Acrobat use...
Will I have to use the Toolkit and Cursor classes? Will it be platform-independent? And where can I get the images? Are they in a windows folder, or do I have to draw them by myself?

The only thing I know for sure is that you will have to use the Toolkit method for creating a new Custom cursor, wether you make the cursor images yourself or copy them from somewhere else.
I think if you distribute your program as an executable jar file and include the cursor image there, the cursor part will be platform independant.
