    Exactly which API's are you referring to ?.

    Java API's are just classes, you will import the particular package name, and then use the API the example below shows how to use the ArrayList api as defined at

    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/...ArrayList.html
    e.g.

    Code:
    import java.util.*;

    class test
    {

    ArrayList list = new ArrayList();

        addAString(String x)
        {
             list.add(x)
        }
    }
    Cheers
    Graham
