My unix is a bit rusty, but are you trying to execute an object file ? Should it not be
an executable, - compiled and linked ?

Like I said, my unix is rusty, I just imagined that the runtime would require
an executable, e.g. that when you issue a cmd like "c:\\tmp\\prog" it implies
that there must be a file called prog.exe in your tmp directory.
