HELP!! Vb and Excel

i just started learing how to program and I'm using Visual Basic. I have a project to do...I need to create a student filing system with Vb so that the files are stored in Excel. i really need help ...I'm so lost and half this VB thing is greek to me

Dear dimpz,
you realize that we cannot do your homework, and that your description of the problem is a little too vague.
Did you already write down some code? In which part do you need more help? Do you know how VB interact with Excel?
I suggest, to start with, that you do a search for keywords in this same forum, you will be amazed how much info you can find here... You can also go in the devX main page, where you can find a link to the code and download page. Learn by examples, it is the best way (if the examples are good, I can vouch for this site)
