JFileChooser and My Network Places
I have a Java application running on Windows XP using JFileChooser. The network has a number of shares available. Some of the shares are mapped to letters and some are not.
The JFileChooser opens, I choose "My Network Places" and then choose a share that is _not_ mapped to a letter. The description on the folder says
"iozone on QA2 (10.10.10.60)". When I select that share ,the filename that is given is "C:\Documents and Settings\user\NetHood\iozone on QA2(10.10.10.60)". This is not useful to the user - the normal Windows response should be \\10.10.10.60\iozone"
Is this a known problem and is there a fix?
Thanks
Peter
