Alternative data structures to ArrayList

Hiya All

I am trying to compare the advantages and disadvantages to alternative data structures to Arraylists that could be used for storing collections. Such as Arrays, Hashmaps, LinkList etc etc.

Is there are websites or good books or can any tell me any information that compares any of these. I wanna such information such as efficeny - the big o notation, speed etc etc

Any advice would be a great help

You should find a lot of websites dealing with Data Structures & Algorithms, especially from University Computer Science websites.
