    Unhappy HELP. Syntax problem on reading text file

    String fileName="Namedata.txt";

    FileReader fr = new FileReader(fileName);
    BufferedReader myInput = new BufferedReader(fr);

    Hello guys,
    I am new to java...I have a text file needed to retrieve in my program. but i never make the link to the file right. File not found exception occur whatever i do. Please help and let me know how to write the link to file when i am using FileReader???

    Your code is ok so try specifying the full path, eg.:
    String fileName="c:\\tmp\\Namedata.txt";
