to Fortune 1000 clientele has immediate opening for a Sr. Software Product
Architect to join their growing Security R&D team in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:
As a key member of our technical team you will work with a top-notch security
focused commercial software development team in a lead role analyzing and
conceptualizing technical and business requirements for enterprise security.
Successful candidate will perform as a subject matter expert in software
and network vulnerability and hacker exploits. Will design enterprise software
solutions involving intrusion detection, vulnerability assessment and event
management. Will also consult on methodologies, practices and tools in a
development team environment. Will undertake mentoring responsibilities,
evaluate leading edge technologies and keep current on industry knowledge.
Required Skills: BSCS or related degree.
- 7+ years in commercial software product development environment
- 3+ years of experience in Security related software technology, including
vulnerability assessment,penetration assessment, Incident/Intrusion Detection,
Firewall and/or VPN Event Management.
- Must possess J2EE and/or Windows experience and have Business Strategy
exposure.
- Experience in Standards-based architecture necessary and/or an understanding
of how to get there.
