I'm in the process of creating a windows service by coding in c#. How can I send email from it?

    Please give me some clue.

    Thanks.

You can use the System.Web.Mail namespace to send e-mail in C# (http://www.systemwebmail.com/). Your Windows service must be configured to run under a user account with the necessary permissions to send mail.

    Phil,

Due to some reason, I cannot see the System.Web.Mail namespace in my system. Do I need to install anything extra on my workstation?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks.

You must add a reference to System.Web.dll.
