    Great Website for Beginners

I found a great website(40 pages or something) that tells you all the basics on VB. It helped me get through some stuff i didn't know.

whoever needs a little more, I suggest the old Visual Basic Programming Journal (Now DevStudio Magazine, almost only discussions and no content), you can find the archives in pdf format (plus code) at:

    http://www.fawcette.com/archives/magazines/vsm

registration is free. VBPJ was a GREAT magazine, with a lot of code for almost every one, from beginners (see the Getting Started articles) to advanced (the famous Black Belt Programming), from people like Karl Peterson, Dan Appleman, Francesco Balena and Matthew Curland, to name a few. The best years (Vb56) are from 1996 to 2000

Disclaimer. We all like VB, but I do not think Longhorn will continue to support it. If you are starting, bite the bullet and go straight to .NET
