    How do I pass variables from one page to another (within the same web location)

    Hi

    How do I pass variables from one page to another (within the same web location), without using a cgi script, or any server-side stuff.
    Something like:
    ../images/sum.form1.field1.value = var1
    field2.value = var2 ...

    where 'images' is the folder on the 1st hierarchy level, sum.html is the page from that folder, which is loading along with the home page, so it stays resident in memory to collect data from other pages.

    Is that feasible with javascript at all, without bothering a server with cgi ?

    I use FrontPage & ImageReady.

    Thank You so much

    p.s.
    I heard something about hidden frame or window in the background to store variables from all pages, but I don't no nothing about these things. Can I create a hidden frame with FrontP (&how)?
