    Getting started with JAVA

    Hi guys,
    I have read a couple of core JAVA books like James Gosling and Herbert Schidlt, but haven't really programmed in Java yet.I will be looking for job in the field of servlets and JSPs pretty soon...can anyone guide me how to proceed without any prior experience in this field,plzz help, thanks,

    hey hey don't rush !!!
    first see how good you are with core
    how good are ur problem solving with java
    i have submitted one of the problems which u normally get previously
    see if you are able to solve it

    and trust me if your basics are good.then jsp and servlets or jdbc will be a peice of cake , but don't forget to take lessons in RMI too
