My requirement is to build a self signed applet and use it over the intranet.
Will i require to import keystore and change the policy file on each of users PC or there anyother way to do it ? As changing the policy file on each of user PC is a tough job or ask them to change.

I also want to run this applet on both IE and netscape. I understood that it require to sign by jarsigner and signtool for IE and Netscape but do i require to use some MS/NetSacpe API for the security access in my applet code ? Also as MS is not going to support MSDK for Java the how to generate .cab file and certificate for MS IE.

Any detailed info will be highly appreciated..
