Java and Maya?
Hi,
I want to have ago at a basic game(possibly an RPG) and i use Maya. What i want to know is can maya be intergrated into Jave so i could make characters/landscapes etc and put them into java so i could have good graphics? I've never used Java so thats why im asking

Here's an open source project to produce a Java Maya but it hasn't had updates in awhile. http://sourceforge.net/projects/jaya/

Thanks for your reply sorry i havent posted back i've been away.
I'm not quite sure what this java/maya program does
so doe's this mean that it would be difficult to create a Java game using Maya for the levels and character side of things?

I think so. As I understand it, Maya is sort of interpreter of a set of graphics functionality. To use it in Java you'd have to have a Java implementation.
