Mobile web to text messaging link

Hi all,

I have a premium rate phone number and sms service and need help on my mobile version site.

When clients are on the internet via their cell phones they are not able to access anything else on their phone including placing calls or text messaging.

When the client is on my mobile site I did find link code that will dial the phone number but is there a way to have a link connect to their phones text messaging while browsing the web via the cell phone?

This is phone dependent i think, some phones will still ring if they are surfing the web.
