What property files do you mean? If you mean .frx files, then not much luck. You can open them, but not make much sense, since they're binary.

As Runes states, frx and ctx are binary files. There are anyhow applications that can read them and extract information (I have a 'image' extractor, that right in this moment I cannot find it, it's time to clean up my disk) maybe someone knows how to find them

    take a look at

    http://btmtz.mvps.org/gfxfromfrx

because there is the source code, probably it is possible to customize it and to extract other kind of information

are you sure that that property is stored in the frm and not in the frx? it does not look binary to me

    hid3t0,

Just wondering, why would you want to change the properties using notepad?
    Why not just use VB?
