    image displaying in jsp

    hi,
    we are using the jsp and java struts concepts. we are using the jsp code for only the server side. Actually i want to display an image in client side dynamically.
    i generated the image but it displays the image name in the client source code but idont want to display image name in clients source code.
    every time jsp generated imageXX.jpg and imageXX.jpg. so i want only with the name of "image.jpg". so plz

    The only way to do that is to use a URL for the image that resolves to a servlet that opens the correct image and streams it back to the client.

    But we are not getting exact solution for yesterdays problem.
    Actually we are not using the servlets.
    Give me the brief description on that concept.
    Is there any possibility to do in jsp or struts.
    Plz reply as early as possible.

    JSP/Struts is a view/controller implimentation so force fitting this kind of thing there is not a good idea. The servlet/image server concept is really simple. It's sort of an update of the "hit counter" CGI scripts that are addressed in an img tag and respond with a graphical representation of the number.
