err:- current recordset doesn't allow to update record

Hi!

My name is saurabh. I'm working on asp project 'Call_log' that handles
database i.e.

User logs a call and asp code put that text in database along with
their name and time.

This updating works on some machine but on server it gives error:-

err- current recordset doesn't allow to update

Can you please tell me why is it so and how can it be solved
