    How to display an error message in iFrame?

    I programmatically diaplay a user control in an iFrame by using the following codes:

    If AccessType then

    Me.iFrame1.Attributes.Add("src", http://www.msn.com)
    Else
    Me.iFrame1.InnerText = "Access Dennied."

    End If

    But Me.ifrmResources.InnerText = "Access Dennied." doesn't work. How can an error message disaplayed in the iFrame?

    Thanks.

    I'd recommend you switch to a div, p or other block element for that.

    Say you have a p with id="message" and initially empty. To display the message

    document.getElementById("message").innerHTML = "Access Denied!"
