Ftp
Hi everyone,
I need to ask a very broad based question about the JAVA Authenticator class. Is this class only meant to be used for authentication for the Http internet protocols or it can also apply to Ftp internet protocols and Https internet protocols??
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thank You
Yours Sincerely

The Authenticator class is an abstract class, so I would assume that if you made your own class that extended Authenticator, then yes, it would be able to work for FTP protocols as well. Never having worked with FTP protocols myself, I am unable to be of any more assistance, but I hope that I have shed some light onto your problem.
