Hi,
Well, Here's your new perk friends !!

Sometimes, we need to scroll some messages on our forms. This can be done by so many ways. One of them is by using a function call Mid() in Visual Basic. We will have a timer control also to control the scrolling speed.

Perk 3: The Scrolling Text
****************************************************
The trick is simple. We will take the first letter of the string and push this into the end that string and so on.

So, Again, start a new windows application project in VB.NET. Do not rename anything anytime. Now put a label control and a timer control on the form. Write something on the label, that we want to scroll. Oh no, you can always change this text at runtime. Now set the Timer1.Enable=True in the designer.
Now paste the following code in your form1 class:

Code-----------------------------------------------------

Private Sub Timer1_Tick(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Timer1.Tick
Label1.Text = Mid(Label1.Text, 2, Label1.Text.Length - 1) & Mid(Label1.Text, 1, 1)
End Sub

Code-----------------------------------------------------

Run the project and close your mouth

Bye for Now,
