copy entire contents of the text in the word file in to the text area

Hi,

I need to do the following in the asp project.

The form contains the file upload component and textarea objects.

After the user uploads the word file (using file upload), the entire contents of the word file should be copied to the textarea and displayed.

Kindly help me how to do this.

well you have a serious problem if you use word version < 2003

starting of the xml based word this would be easy ( if the template is delivered by you to the user )

however in previous ( binary versions ) of word the content can be copied but you would loos all formatting etc etc

another aproach would be that you just show the word document in the webbrowser ( this works in IE on a computer with word installed )
