    Wouldn't YOU Like to know??

    VB.NET: Internet

    I am trying to design a program which can access the internet in the background (ie. Not in a web browser on the form).
    In Visual Basic 6.0, I was able to use Inet and Winsock, but these do not seem to work in .NET.
    Is there any equivalent with the simplicity of Inet?
    I need to perform GET and POST, meaning the program should be able to perform Logins, et cetera.
    I tried this:
    Dim Net As New System.Net.WebClient
    txtHTML.Text = System.Text.Encoding.ASCII.GetString(Net.DownloadData("http://www.someurl.com/"))
    This downloads the HTML fine (I see it as an equivalent of Inet.OpenURL("http://www.someurl.com/"))
    But I don't know how to do POST.
    I have done searches, but nothing seems to be able to log me in....
    Any help would be appreciated.
    ...I have arrived, to attempt to conquer the world with my nefarious schemes!!! You. All of you!! You shall all bow... bow, to ME!!!!
