Best awt resources on web
Ok, I've had to give up on swing, the download from sun is just too big to have it on my site and expect people to do it.
So I am cursing Microsoft for not letting the browser swing, and am embracing the awt (short for awful tools?).
But I have problem after problem without my swing-set.
What are some good online resources for AWT-only programming? I want to make sure the examples I see are applet only and not japplet. Thx!

I'm sure that if you browsed java.sun.com you could find some. Although I dont know of any off-hand, I started my java programming experience using only AWT, and did not understand Swing until later on. If you have any more specific questions, I'm sure I could provide a decent answer.

Thanks. I have found some decent help at Sun, but I still have to be careful it isn't swing stuff... they like to sneak it in, lol.
Right now, I'm working on building an Image Button class so that my buttons can be customized with text and images again! What took me fifteen minutes to figure out in swing (oh how I love icons!) is taking a very long time in awt. Do you know somebody that has a top-of-the-line example class for image buttons in awt made by extending one of the container classes? it would beat building one from scratch.
