    Opening a closed JInternalFrame..?

I tried to search for this, but I coulden't find anything. I have been wondering about this for sometime, but what can you do to show a JInternalFrame that has already been closed by the user using the built in "X" in the upper corner.

Up untill now I have just been making my frames not closable and adding a button to show/hide the frame. But I would really like to use the built in close frame functionality. Is there anyway to re-open the frame once it has been closed?

    Thanks!

i think you'd have to rebuild the internal frames

If the internal frame is hidden, not disposed, you could keep pointers to these in
a List and use them again.
    eschew obfuscation
