Can Java application browse files in the server?

    Hello all,
I would like to create a client/server program that allows the client to
browse the directory structure and the files in the server.
It will be nice if the features such as file upload and file download are
    available.

I'm using JDK 1.3. I plan to use swing for the interface.
    Any good examples?
