SQL Grouping
I have to create a report in SQL 2000. I just need to display the report for the given month. The header has to have the Month, Dept1, dept2, dept3, Totals. The detail has to have the day, total hours for dept1, total hours for dept3, total hours for dept3, then Grand total.
example:
August Dept1 Dept2 Dept3 Totals
1 10.2 30.1 20 60.3
2 2.2 3.1 4 5.7
Total 12.4 33.1 24 65.10
the problem i'm having is when there are multiple entries for a given day.
