    Email search libraries

    I'm looking for some Java search code that will let me search through
    email message content, as well as message attachments. I especially
    need access to MS Exchange, PST and Notes NSF files. Open source or
    commercially available tools will do. Any ideas?

    Besides the Java Mail API?

    Connecting directly to exchange other than as a mail client I am pretty sure is a non-starter.

    PSTs require Outlook and are a pain - even with MS tools.

    There is a Java API for Notes.
