You utilize two base classes for that purpose.
    1- FileReader / FileWriter
    2- StreamReader / StreamWriter

I think this food was enough for your thought.

how to save the files in C#.net

if the program is in our harddisk then no problem for saving the files automatically before system shutdown using streamreader or writer. But if we are modifying the application like word, excel before saving these things the application is our RAM.from this we r not able to read the things using streamreader.
