On one of my datagrids I have three dropdown lists.

The first dropdown list dosnt have any code behind it and is populated from SQL server.

The second dropdown list is populated from SQL server, and when an item is selected, sends a query to SQL server to populate the third drop downlist

The third dropdownlist is populated as described.

I'm having a problem when I select a value in the second dropdown list. An item is selected from the first list, then when I select an item from the second list, it goes off an populates the third dropdown list fine, however, the first dropdownlist changes the selected item to an index of 1 (there is an item 0). Resetting it as such.

I've tried the viewstate etc but nothing seems to be working.

Any ideas anyone?
