Preventing an 'enter' keypress reloading the page
This is my first post so a big 'hi' to everybody.
I am stuck on something rather irritating and any help would be very much appreciated.
I'm currently working on a pop-up dialogue window, using HTML, javascript and JSP. The submit button works fine, returning the correct value to the parent page and closing the window. However if the enter key is pressed the dialogue window page is apparently reloaded in a new window.
I have tried various solutions that do indeed work, but they do not override this reloading. I'm going half spare and would very much appreciate any insights anyone might have into this. Is there a default submit for forms? Can I override this? Am I on the right track at all?
Many thanks,
James
