    Question Can't open word doc in asp.net

    Hi people,

    I have written an application which allows users to open word document when they press the button on the page of my website. When I use Aspnet user account (machine account, auto generated password) the word application opens, but as soon as I have set the impersonate = true with username and password in the web.config file it doesn't work anymore.

    Here's my code to open a word application

    Code:
    Dim wordApp As New Word.Application
    Dim wordDoc As New Word.Document

    wordDoc = wordApp.Documents.Open(Server.MapPath("folder/Message.doc"))

    Please help

    Thanks

    kero

    how do I give permission to the impersonation account? I have given write, read, modified permission to my custom account on word.doc file. Do I need to change anything programmatically? I can save new data into this word doc, but can't open or print the document when I am using the button on my website. Will this be an IIS issue?

    Please help

    Thanks
    kero
