How doI start a Java application?
How do I start to a application?I have the SDK but where do I go to start it I cant seem to find it.
Thank you
It woundlt happen to be the Java web start notepad would it?
-
There is noting to start... The SDK is just a toolbox that is used when you compile
your homemade applications. Some people say that they are fine with just a
notepad editor, but if you don't enjoy pain I would suggest that you get the free
ECLIPSE java development system.

Programming in java
Well, i sugest getting an IDE for compilling ur java scripts. I had that same problem when i started programming in JAVA. Well i am in the same interst as u i want to also create a 3D MMORPG. I am a kinda Begginer programmer.
-
I would also suggest try to make a game from an Applet, so the player can play it in their browser. That is what i want to build.

U said u need a good image creater well i suggest Anim8tor its works well fully 3D, best of all its free
-
Well if you start out small and then get oriented with the basics and then build from there then an IDE is not a good place to start. Get Notepad++ or JEdit which are free...and then follow the sun tutorials, decide what you want to aim for, set up the proper jdk environment on your machine and then take off from there. IDEs come in later once you have grasped the basics and then it is just a tool that will aid in the coding process is all.
