.NET SitePassword Integration
Hi guys,
Im new to the forum, however, I was wondering how I can enable my personals site to be compatible to the .NET Passport interface (or whatever this is) what benefits this offers, etc. I went on a like site and it seemed like it has some benefits so I was just wondering.
Please help me out.
Sincerely yours,
Shawn Ames

The advantage of using Passport is that your users can sign into many sites (including yours) with a single username and password. The disadvantage is that it's quite expensive (something like $10,000/year the last time I checked).
Unless yours is a large site like MSN, I'd recommend that you use the new membership and personalization providers in ASP.NET 2.0. They're free and probably provide all the functionality you need.
