Image conversion form BMP to GIF

I have made an AutoCad macro in VB6, which helps me export af dwg file to an bmp file. This is all good, but my problem is that i need to load this bmp file, convert it to a gif file, and then save the gif fil.
Can anybody help med with my problem??

I don't know of any way to convert a BMP to a GIF file in VB6 without using a third-party product.
