We're looking for a true Flash engineering expert, to assist with the development of powerful and flexible Flash frameworks for our award-winning e-learning products. This person will be the expert on Flash within our multi-disciplined engineering team, and will need to be comfortable coordinating with a variety of technologies in addition to ActionScript. For this role, we're not interested in the visual side of Flash development -- just a true visionary, who can use Flash creatively to meet the complex needs of our market and the outrageous interactivity of our products.
Core Responsibilities:
Working with development staff to engineer rich, flexible products using a combination of technologies
Provide expertise on using Flash within complex architectures
Develop Flash code, using ActionScript 2.0, Javascript, XML according to project specifications
Coordinating with external Flash development resources on guidelines, best practices, etc.
Requirements:
4+ years experience developing Flash applications
Expertise in complex Flash development
Experience with developing international applications
Comfortable working in complicated deployment environments (CD, web, CD+web, firewalls, multiple Flash versions, etc.)
Experience with 508 compliance
Experience with standard development best practices
Experience with JavaScript, JAVA a plus.
