I am trying to configure my tomcat server for using SSL. But it is not getting configured.

I am using Tomcat 4.1.27 and J2sdk1.4.2_04. I need to configure tomcat for using HTTPS. I generated the keystore file as mentoined in tomcat documentation and also made the neccessary changes (uncommented the connector tag for port 8443) in server.xml file. The documentation mentions that jdk1.4 and above have inbuilt JSSE.

After doing above mentioned chages, when I start the tomcat server, it shuts down immediately.

Please help.
