Hello all, i am new to the devx community
Hi
I come from China. My English is very poor.I would like to learn more about jsp,I hope you all can give me some advice.I wondered what's the most popular tool about the development of jsp process nowadays,netbean4.1 , jbuilder9.0 , elipse2.1 or the others?
thanks!

Hi,
Your English is quite good compared to several people I met online.
Before starting with JSP or web applications in general, you should be comfortable with the fundamentals of Java. If you already are, you should find a good book for JSP/servlet. Both JSP and servlet will go hand-in-hand.
I personally like Netbeans and I have also worked with JBuilder and Eclipse. Netbeans is quite rich in features and it's free. The recent version (5.0) is good. There are plugins available for Netbeans too. The same is also true for Eclipse. The licensing cost is the only factor which keeps me and my organization away from JBuilder which has several features to facilitate enterprise application development.
Happiness is good health and a bad memory.

i studied jsp one year ago,but i found asp is easier than jsp.so i changed to asp then. But later i found the security is really unbelievable.Actually many people did tell me asp will be eliminated sooner or later. So i took up jsp again. There're not many forums like this in my country,so i hope i can get more challenging and usefull knowledge about jsp here.
