    org.xml.sax.SAXParseException--

    Friends,

    I have just got an annoying issue, which is really irritating. The issue is

    I working with a application, when i try to do any operation, i have end up with this exception . The Comlpete exception trace are

    org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Document root element is missing.
    at org.apache.crimson.parser.Parser2.fatal(Unknown Source)
    at org.apache.crimson.parser.Parser2.fatal(Unknown Source)
    at org.apache.crimson.parser.Parser2.parseInternal(Unknown Source)
    at org.apache.crimson.parser.Parser2.parse(Unknown Source)
    at org.apache.crimson.parser.XMLReaderImpl.parse(Unknown Source)
    at org.apache.crimson.jaxp.DocumentBuilderImpl.parse(Unknown Source)
    at javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilder.parse(Unknown Source)
    at Com.adventnet.security.common.SecurityXMLParser.getDataForAddOperGroup(SecurityXMLParser.
    java:1090)

    Another information is , this is occuring only when i'm using jdk1.5.0_01 and thre is no problem when using jdk1.4.2, no exception.

    I'm using jdk1.5.0_01, using an applet client, please help me to solve this problem.

    Is the xml well formed? Also there could be invisible ASCII characters before the <?XML ...> tag. Some text editors (Notepad) have been known to do this.
