checking wheather server is down or not
Hi all,
In web services(apache axis),how the client come to know that the server is down.Just calling the server using stubs and if getting exception then or there is some other way also.
In case of client-server communication using sockets,if getting java.net.connectException we can say that server is down or there is some other way also to check wheather server is down or not?
please express your views.
with regards,
ajse
