Applet Works in Eclipse but not in website

I have made my applet using Eclipse and it works fine in Eclipse, but when I try to run it from a web browser or using applet viewer it does not work. I think the problem is to do with access policies, I know that in Eclipse when you run the applet it give full access permissions by creating a policy file, but when you run it outside of Eclipse the normal JVM has restrictions. How do I get rid of these restrictions or give the Applet the appropriate access rights. I have heard something about a class called Access Controller, but am unsure how to implement it.
    Thanks
    Sambo

yea, I am having the same problem. From what I could find it has something to do with signing the jar file that contains the applet, but I have no idea how to do that. If you figure this out can u post it in here? I have had a post on this forum for a day or two now asking about this issue and noone has posted, so I don't think that anyone here really knows much about it.
