Need help with internet application
Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to acess from VB6 program on local machine some kind of *.asp application.
I meen to create an asp programm and VB program that would be able to comunicate thrue the net.
For example I want to create a function in VB6 that could retreve data like this
strSomething=getData("www.domainname.com/application.asp?id=xxx&name=xxxxx
Hote somebody know something about this. Thank's.

Yes, you may use the Internet Transfer Control included with VB to download data from the Web: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en...fercontrol.asp
