I want to build the chat application in ASP.
May I know the logic?

Check out freeVBCode.com. In the past couple months there has been a number of implementations of chat applications, some with custom interfaces. Simply cut and paste the sub procedures and functions from the VB interface and update it to use your ASP/HTML interface.
