finding identity column programatically
Hi
I am using the source code here in the link below to get info of an sql server database - however there is one thing i need to know about the columns in each table and that is 'is it an identity?' ( i.e an autonumber if you use access )
http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/101799-1.shtml
I am presuming that somewhere in the objColumns recordset there may be an 'identity' value but cannot seem to find any docs ..
or do i need to use a different type of schema to find wether a column is has a property of identity set to true ?
thanks
