    cant run java

    I dont know what I did to my computer, but I am running windows me and a few days ago I had to run my restore program. After I ran my restore program, I have not been able to get java to work. I tried reinstalling and it always says I have the latest version. I cannot uninstall because I do not have an icon in the control panel nor is java listed in my add remove programs list. I also tried to reinstall my windows but still cant get java to work. I am so down hearted, can anyone help????? Lisa

    Hi, when you trying to install Java what problem you have?

    Do you download windows java?

    You can go to windows registry if you know how
    I afraid to tell you because you may delete something useful and destroy windows.

    But you acn see at least. Do not delete anything

    In windows Click start -> run. In run text box type regedit and click OK

    windows regisry displays. Select

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->javasoft->

    you will see:

    Java Development Kit
    Java Plug-in
    Java Runtile Environment
    Java Update
    Java Web Start

    if you do not see it then answer me

    visit: www.configure-all.com
