tutorials
I found the following tutorials about CVS :
http://www.csc.calpoly.edu/~dbutler/tutorials/winter96/cvs/
http://www.star.bnl.gov/STAR/sds_l/s..._tutorial.html
http://www.alma.nrao.edu/development...tes/mma003.pdf
THese could help you out. I haven't created a repository yet but I've worked with cvs from within Eclipse and this is really easy. You should take a look at www.java.net; there is a project called "eclipse-tutorial" which contains tutorials about eclipse and cvs.
